Articles on: Listing Your Parking Space

How to create a great listing

The most important elements of a quality listing are:

Accurately placing the map pin
Attracting users by describing what is nearby
Providing clear 'Instructions to Drivers', telling them: How to find the space on arrival at your address, where precisely to park, or how to contact you if there is any problem finding the space or getting in.

MAPS:

Edit your map marker so it is as close as possible to the entrance to your space.

IMPORTANT: Check the correct address is entered in the address field after the map pin is moved.

PHOTOS:

Use photos of the exact location so users can be certain of where to go. Photos of the area on the approaches to the space are also useful. Use lots of photos, they all help confirm where to go.

Space description & driver instructions:

A few minutes spent on getting your listing right could be the start of your successful parking operations. For example: "Our space is close to Croke Park - very handy for big match days, or for those big gigs. Walking distance to City Centre or Drumcondra Train Station. We are also right beside a Dublin Bike Stand and the space is available to rent by the hour, day, week or month."

Give lots of instructions to drivers, as, once they are booked in, they will need to know how to find your space and what to do when they get there.

Remember, the more detail you provide, the more bookings you are likely to receive.
