What do I do if the driver arrives early or late?
Plan change, we get it! Here's what to do if it happens: Running early? It's the driver's responsibility to arrive at the right time. If they're early and you can accommodate them, feel free to do this at your own discretion. If they're really early, you could ask them to make a booking for the extra hour(s) using the Parkpnp app or website. Running late? What is VAT and how does it apply to me?
Parkpnp is required to collect VAT on its service fees in countries that tax Electronically Supplied Services. Currently, that includes all countries in the EU. Value Added Tax, or VAT, is a tax assessed on the supply of goods and services. In Japan, Japanese Consumption Tax, or JCT, is applicable instead of VAT. In Australia and New Zealand, Goods and Services Tax, or GST, is applicable instead of VAT. VAT rates are calculated according to the local rate of the customer's country of residence
How much should I charge?
Experimenting with price is key to attracting bookings. Low prices attract bookers, once the bookings begin to flow it’s easy to raise prices and find your perfect price point. Remember empty spaces don’t make money. If your space requires a fob or key access we would suggest that you list your space on a monthly basis only as it would require one transaction.
How is the price determined? Is it taxable?
Taxes can be complicated so it’s important to take time to understand the rules as they apply to you and your particular situation. In general, money you earn from renting your space is income, and will be subject to tax. Your income tax liability will depend on your current income situation. What does it cost to list my space?
Great news! Listing a space on Parkpnp is free. This allows you to list as many spaces as you want without the worry of being charged. We charge a 20% commission based on all bookings. Which means we only make our money once you've made yours! The price listed online and advertised to the parker includes the 20% commission so you don''t need to worry about the calculations.
Should I add photos to my listing?
Parking spaces are not the most photogenic. We get it. However spaces with photos receive up to 3x as many bookings so it's worth taking the time to get it right. Here's two types of pictures that we recommend you take: 1) A picture from the approach to help driver find your space. 2) A close up picture of your space so that the driver knows exactly where to park. Trust us, a little bit of effort will go a long way!
How to create a great listing
The most important elements of a quality listing are: Accurately placing the map pin Attracting users by describing what is nearby Providing clear 'Instructions to Drivers', telling them: How to find the space on arrival at your address, where precisely to park, or how to contact you if there is any problem finding the space or getting in. When do I receive Payment?
Once the booking has come to an end you will receive payment via bank transfer. Please allow up to 7 days (not including weekends or bank holidays) for this to reach your account. You can always view the status of your payouts in your account . To view this information just log into your Parkpnp account and click 'Dashboard.' Someone has just booked my space, how do I get the key/ fob to them?
Our messages feature allows you to directly interact with the booker of your space. Once you have received a booking you will then have the option to message them. Access to my space is complicated, what do I do?
Everyone wants hassle free parking. FACT! Here's a few simple things that you can do to make it easier.
