How do I prove I've paid for parking?
Once the space owner has approved your booking request you will receive a confirmation email. This email is proof that you have booked and paid for parking, The space owner will be able to identify you based on your registration details that you provided when setting up your Parkpnp account so there's no need to display anything on your dashboard.
Am I locked into a long term contract?
Don't worry, we would never lock you into a long-term contract. All monthly agreements are made on a monthly basis. Your card will be charged month by month so no need to worry about paying it all in one go. The great thing about long term bookings is peace of mind that your space is reserved solely for yourself and nobody can jump in and book it the month after. If you are on a monthly rolling contract and you need to cancel it, please cancel booking prior to the start of new booking month.
Who's responsible for the FOB/Key?
For added security and peace of mind, some of our parking spaces require a key or FOB to gain access. Once the booker receives the key or FOB, they are held responsible for its safe keeping. As a gesture of goodwill and a thank you for booking your parking with us we will cover the cost of the repair or replacement of the key/ FOB on the first occurrence. (We will require a copy of a valid receipt before payment is transferred directly to the space owners bank account.) On the second occurre
Is my space really guaranteed?
Once you have received your confirmation email your space is reserved and guaranteed just for you. You can rest assured that our listers know you are coming and will be holding the space for your arrival.
Why can't I see the full address before I book?
For security reasons we don't display the full address until after you make a booking. When you search for a space we provide you with the name of the general area. The map pin can also be used to help identify where the space is located. Once the booking has been confirmed you will receive all the details on how to find the space, with the exact address and other other instructions such as FOB collection. Do you offer overnight parking?
Of course we do! With the majority of our spaces, when you book the daily rate you are a entitled to the full 24 hours of parking. You will also usually have the freedom to come and go as you like within the 24 hour period. Do I need to display a parking reservation slip?
No need to worry about printing out your booking confirmation or displaying a parking tag. Space owners will use your registration number to know when you arrive. However always check your booking instructions to see if there is anything else you need to do.
What does the price on the map mean?
The price on the map in the pin represents the charge to rent parking for that particular space. Prices can be hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. Simply click on the space that you're interested in to find out more information on it. *If the pin has a lightning flash beside the price it means that the parking space is also available for instant booking.
I've booked a space that requires a key/ fob. What do I do next?
A large portion of our underground parking for rent requires a FOB or a key to gain access. Once you make a booking you can contact the lister via our message feature. Here you can arrange FOB/ key collection at a time that suits you both. It's usually advisable to book FOB/key required parking 24 hours in advance so that both parties have time to organise handover. How do I change my vehicle registration details?
Changed your car? Make sure to let us know as this is how the space owner identifies you when you're parking in their space. If I book a long term space, do I have to pay it all upfront?
No, don't be crazy! We understand that parking can be a nightmare so when you find long term parking you want to grab it with both hands. Our messages feature allows you to directly interact with the lister and ask any questions you may have. When you find your perfect space just click ‘Message' in the middle of the listing. What type of parking spaces do you offer?
We have a car parking rental to suit every need. Our property types include commercial car parks, private residences, offices/ business, places of worship and academic institutions. Once you click into a parking rental, the property type of the space will be identified. What happens if a car is damaged or stolen when parked?
We all know that car parking has its associated risks. Where can I find my receipt?
When you make a booking via Parkpnp, you receive two emails; a booking confirmation email along with a copy of your receipt. We would suggest you hold onto these for your records. If you would like to request another copy of your receipt, message us via the chat bubble below.
Can I make multiple bookings for the same time?
Great question! We have no limit on the amount of spaces you can book. However, when making a booking you will have to do it one at a time. All these bookings can still have the same start and end time, they will just be captured as separate bookings. Do you offer motorcycle rates?
Parkpnp does not offer motorcycle rates. If you would like to book a parking space for you motorcycle you will have to pay the standard rate as advertised.
Can I book a space over the phone?
Unfortunately not, all bookings must be made online through Parkpnp.com or through our app. That being said, we're happy to answer any questions or walk you through the booking process over the phone if you'd like. Convention Centre Booking
The Convention Centre only offer pre-payment of three parking deals, i.e. All-Day, Evening (6pm-midnight) and Overnight. It is not possible to pre-pay for hourly rates.
